Nicole Pinson has been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana since 2002. She has an undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado, a Master's degree in Counseling from Louisiana Tech University, and a Clinical Community post-grad certificate from Johns Hopkins University.

She started her career in West Feliciana schools as a Mental Health therapist for eight years. While there she was on a team facilitated by LSU Health Sciences to provide trauma therapy to children in rural communities. She then worked at Episcopal School of Baton Rouge for four years as the upper school counselor.

Her background includes trauma focused narrative therapy and cognitive therapy for depression and anxiety. Through her work in the schools she has also assisted children with diverse learning needs such as ADHD and Dyslexia. 

 

Appointments:

Nicole is currently available on Tuesdays for in person therapy.
